We invented this game in 2001 with a dream to combine baseball, cards & beer- we succeeded.  It is basically a game of war, but with options.  If you like baseball & beer then you will love this game & if not then get out of this country because nothing says RED, WHITE AND BLUE like baseball, cards and beer!

***IAN & GREG ORIGINAL***
This is a card game for two people.  First decide who is visitor & who is home team.  Decide how many innings you want to play from 5 to 9 (the more innings the more drinking).  Home team deals every top half of an inning & visitor deals every bottom half of an inning.  Eight cards are dealt to each player.  Set them up in 3 outfield & 5 infield positions (no pitcher), can you do that? Okay then lets continue.

Now the offense flips a card & the defense tries to beat it (like war) for an out.  If the offense reaches base then that runner must be forced in to score (or sacrificed in).  If the eight cards run out then the defense must deal again, but the offense must remember their batting order for the entire game or the defense can call them on it which results in an out and pounding of an entire beer.  Card values for offense are below (assuming defense does not match or beat the card) & the value of defensive cards as well. PLAY BALL!!!

OFFENSE:
Ace = homerun
King = triple
Queen = doulble
Jack through 3 = single
10 or higher with a runner on third and 0 to 1 out = sacrifice fly (an out & a run)
2 on a defensive Ace of the same suit = inside the park homerun
*offensive drinks for the difference of the "out cards", the face value of a double play card, face value of a triple play card & a beer for batting out of order plus an out. Ace 14, King 13, Queen 12, Jack 11 & face value of cards 10 through 2.

DEFENSE:
Any card that beats their card = out
Same card as offense = double play (unless there is no one on) for lead runners
Ace on an offensive 2 of the same suit = triple play
*defense drinks for the number of bases the hitter reaches on a single hit. Homerun 4, Triple 3, Double 2, Single 1.
